This is my favorite tree that I have come across, it lives in one of my families favorite summer spots. From afar its a big old crazy bent tree. Up close it has its own little world. The second photo is my favorite, I love the little bug hanging in the moss.
I really like how you took a picture of the tree far away. Then all the other pictures are up close. Some of the really up close pictures to me actually look like rocks which is really cool. Great work this week.
ReplyDeleteLoved the scene looking up and capturing the bend in the tree. I used to hike a lot and always loved looking up with the light above and the subject just jotting up and up. This intrigued me and made me remember good times in my life. The lighting seemed perfect and gave just the proper surrounding with the tree the main subject. Unique idea and I thought the contrast was excellent.
ReplyDeleteThis must be a very old tree to have attained such a height, and the bark close up has an almost rock-like quality to it. The red bug certainly adds color to your second image, but I'm drawn to the first picture you posted. This perspective really leaves the viewer in awe of this majestic tree. Even though its trunk has had to contort over time this tree still stands proudly within this forest.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are full of detail, I like how you took the pictures from many different angles, I agree with Rose, some of the close-ups look like rocks. I think you captured each photo with the perfect amount of lighting.
ReplyDeleteExcellent close-up photos - they show great detail.
