I like the variety of different framing options you played with this week. I think the water framing photos under the bridge and through the tree work exceptionally well. I like the red frame, and I think the windowsill in your last picture is also a great frame, but I wish we were seeing out from a different angle because the subject matter on the opposite side doesn't work as well. Without the objects in the middle ground this would have an almost Tuscan feel to it. Conversely, I like the landscape photo you took, but I don't know what the blue plastic framing is or how it is meant to enhance the photo. I do like the framing of one kitten by even more kittens, though. The light color of this one kitten lying on his back surrounded by the darker colors of the other kittens fur brings your attention right to his very happy (and cozy) face.
I really love what you did with the water flowing under the bridge. It would be nice to see someone standing in there on the third, just to add a focal point but, as it is it's still a great shot.
The water photo was my favorite - it is a view you don't see that often. I also really like the last photo but agree with Jen, the background takes away from the lovely frame of the window.

ReplyDeleteThe little glass bird is my absolute favorite. It's kind of perfect.
